We’re seeking a Commercial Estimator with experience in the landscaping industry to join our estimating team. This person will be responsible for accurately bidding and preparing proposals for commercial landscape construction projects in the Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for upcoming projects
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to ensure accurate estimates
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals on time
• Maintain and update cost databases and vendor pricing
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial landscaping, sitework, or construction
• Strong understanding of landscape construction materials, methods, and costs
• Ability to read and interpret landscape and civil plans
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
