• 2025 Artistry and Craftsmanship Award

    The “Artistry & Craftsmanship Award” highlights the “Best in Show” for a specific landscape feature. To make it even more exciting; each year the theme will change, such as “Fire”, “Water”, “Illumination”, and etc. This will be a separate application and judging process from the broader Excellence in Landscape Awards, and there is no time limit as to when the project was completed. So, if you’ve never entered a project before, it’s a great way to be part of the program. Fill out the simple entry form below and follow the instructions to submit your photographs. The entry fee is only $125 per submission. The winner receives a plaque, social media recognition, images highlighted on the ILCA website with the other winners, and their project photographs displayed on the iLandscape show floor.
  • The 2025 theme will be: Moving Water Features
  • Moving Water Features definition: Moving water withing 25 square feet. Not a pool, pond, or jacuzzi but rather fountains and waterfalls.

  • Color and Texture Plant Combinations

  • Photograph Submission Guidelines

    • Each project must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 photographs.
    • You will need to submit a copy of your photos with an approximate size of 1200 x 1800 pixels at 300 dpi. (Please note that submissions of low resolution photos are no longer required).
    • Change the file names on your photos to follow the sequence of your project description. For example, name your files – photo1.jpg, photo2.jpg, photo3.jpg, etc…
    • Eliminate any company identification from photos or they will be disqualified.
    • Photos may not be altered to enhance finished product beyond adjustments to contrast and brightness.
    • Photos may be submitted by the due date in one of two ways:
      • On a CD or flash drive mailed to the ILCA Headquarters. Write your company name and the project name on the face of the CD or flash drive. Files must be jpeg only.
      • Upload your photos to Dropbox and email a link to information@landscapeillinois.org.
        • Sign up for a free account at https://www.dropbox.com/.
        • Upload your photos into a folder with your company name and project name on it.
        • Highlight your folder and click ‘Share link’.
        • Add information@landscapeillinois.org in the recipient box and write your company name and project name in the message box. Click ‘Send’.
    Submission of this application releases copyright of any and all copyrighted photographs. These photos will not be distributed by the ILCA outside of ILCA and will only be used by the ILCA for promotional and educational purposes and/or in any printed and digital ILCA publications.
