Course Title: Hydraulics, Flow, and Coverage: The Foundation of Sustainable Irrigation Systems

Course Description: Even the most advanced controller can’t fix poor hydraulics. In this hands-on session, irrigation pros will revisit the essential calculations that keep systems performing at their peak—because “rule of thumb” only works until it doesn’t. Through practical worksheets and real-world examples involving pumps, lake intakes, and booster-fed city services, you’ll see how proper hydraulics directly impact coverage, efficiency, and water savings. Whether you’re new to the trade or have decades of experience, you’ll leave with sharper diagnostic tools, renewed attention to system performance, and a deeper understanding of what sustainable irrigation really looks like.
