Inverness Garden

By JMR Landscaping

Our client requested a new garden space, usable by a family of all ages, that could have a wide range of plants, in a relatively small footprint. The garden balances beauty, functionality, and sustainability. Specialized watering ensures optimal hydration and promotes healthy growth while conserving water. Carex groundcover under the orchard reduces weeding and creates a low-maintenance space for harvesting and enjoyment. Native plants enhance biodiversity, provide a pollinator habitat and blend with the existing landscape. Butterfly-attracting plants and cutting flowers add color and movement, resulting in a pollinator-friendly garden. Six types of fruit trees, including espaliers, maximize productivity in a compact space while maintaining unique aesthetic. Raised cedar beds offer accessible gardening. Granite fence posts tie the garden to its surroundings, providing permanence and structure. Our clients could not wait to begin using this unique garden space and have enjoyed a bumper crop of delicious fruits and vegetables!
