At the end of a quiet drive in a neighborhood bordered by forest preserve sits a lovely – almost hidden – home whose inviting front landscape reveals only a sliver of its many delights. Our long relationship with this property began with designing a flagstone patio and continued through several hardscape projects and a wealth of plantings. The transforming of the wooded perimeter into a footpath was logically followed by thwarting invasives, maintaining paths, and gently pruning the understory ornamentals we’d planted. Caring for privacy plantings along the pool and property borders followed and soon – with expert plant knowledge as the foundation for all maintenance – we were also responsible for the extensive perennial beds, seasonal color rotations, and mowing. The trust our client has in our professionalism, dedication, and experience allow them to travel the country knowing they can return home anytime to enjoy their gorgeous landscape without ever worrying about upkeep.
