Spa Benefits at Home
By Reflections Water Gardens
Our health-conscious client requested an easy-to-access spa pool at home for relaxation and rejuvenation, along with a sundeck for reflection. The project began during COVID-19, which fueled permitting and engineering delays. With limited room for staging, we used the neighbor’s front yard for readying boulders and materials. Bounded by trees and fencing, access to the construction site was tight. A 10-foot-wide side entrance, partially blocked by the client’s air conditioner and neighbor’s fence, was the only entry point. Coordinating movement of supplies became a slow, step-by-step process. Once materials and supplies were situated, we had to create a way for machines to work with them. So, we built access ways with pallets and plywood in the middle of the project and drove our machines on top. At first, the client’s wife didn’t want anything to do with the project. As it commenced, she repeatedly told us how awesome everything was.
