During this webinar, Landscape Illinois and Attorney Tejas Shah of Barnes and Thornburg will provide an overview of recent ICE enforcement trends nationally and locally and what members might expect during the upcoming landscaping season. This webinar will provide an overview of the rights of businesses and employees when confronted by ICE, including but not limited to:

• Responding to an administrative subpoena at a worksite
• Determining which areas of the worksite are public and private and why the distinction matters
• Responding to an illegal search/entry by federal authorities
• Recent local ordinances and state legislation relevant immigration enforcement and the rights of business owners/individuals
• How to prepare your workforce for ICE encounters outside worksites
