Dickson Design Studio is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Designer to help shape commercial developments across the Chicagoland region. We’re looking for someone who is motivated and eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-focused environment.
The Opportunity
• Support schematic design, foster design development and prepare construction documents
• Contribute to meaningful commercial landscape projects while building technical skills, refining design sensibility, and strengthening your professional voice
• Mentorship, growth and increasing responsibility over time
• Produce high quality drawings, visualization models and presentations
• Participate in site visits and client meetings

The ideal candidate brings:
Required:
- Landscape Architecture degree or similar field (horticulture, graphic arts, technical drafting)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Desire to listen, respond, and continuously eager to learn
- Organization and initiative
Preferred:
- 2D rendering and 3D modeling experience (Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of Zone 5 plants
- 1-3 years of experience
