The Landscape Illinois Owners and Managers Committee invites you to the second annual Shoperations Tour. This unique event combines an exclusive shop tour, targeted networking, and operational roundtables featuring some of Illinois’ top landscape firms. Go behind the scenes to see how a leading company builds stronger systems, improves efficiency, and solves real-world challenges. Attendees will leave with practical takeaways, fresh ideas, and valuable connections to help take their own operations to the next level.

Please Note: Owners and Managers events are for owners or senior managers (COOs, operations, production, design/sales, etc.). Senior leaders will have responsibilities including: setting budgets, managing personnel, hiring/termination, strategic goal setting, etc. Owners and Managers events exclude account managers and those without direct reports or budget authority.

Itinerary:

Meet at Mariani Landscape’s 300 Rockland Rd. facility to tour the greenhouses, mechanic shop, maintenance operations, and inventory yard.

10:30am-11:00am

• Check-in and coffee (provided by Landscape Illinois)
• Welcome and Introduction to Mariani
• Cover history, new core values, culture transformation, etc.

11:00am-12:15pm – Shop Tours

• Fleet and Equipment
• Greenhouses
• Production

12:15pm-1:15pm – Lunch and Networking

1:15pm-3:30pm –Operations Roundtables in the Pole Barn
Mariani table leader speaks for 5 minutes and then participants engage in open discussion on the topic (5 rotations, 5-minute switch and 25 minutes per discussion).
