Education Session #1 – Rock Facing with Hands-on Demo
Join us for a hands-on demonstration showcasing proper techniques for creating edge treatments on natural stone in the field. Learn best practices and gain practical skills you can apply in the field.

Education Session #2 – How to Plan for Unpredictability with Plant Availability
We’ll discuss strategies to manage unpredictability with plant availability. This session covers using substitutes, specifying generic plant types, and selecting plants based on seasonal availability to ensure your projects stay on schedule and maintain design intent.

Education Session #3 – Plant Maintenance Basics – Fall Watering and Hydrangea Pruning
Discuss effective watering techniques to protect your landscape plants through the colder months and promote healthy, vibrant growth in spring. We’ll also review which hydrangea varieties should be pruned, and which are best left untouched.

Tour #1 – Lurvey Home & Garden and Green Goods Area Tour
Guided tour of Lurvey Home & Garden and Green Goods Sales Yard.  We’ll discuss our selection of plants, landscaping materials, and outdoor living solutions. Attendees will gain insights into our operations while discovering what products are available to enhance your projects.

Tour #2 – Wholesale Building & Hardscape Yard Tour
Tour the Lurvey Wholesale Department and explore our packed hardscape holding yard. Discover a huge selection of natural stone, pavers, and other materials, and gain insights into options available for future projects.
