Course Title: Irrigation Hydraulics, Pumps and System Performance
Course Description: When an irrigation system isn’t performing as expected, the problem often comes back to the fundamentals. This interactive four-hour course connects the basics of irrigation hydraulics to real-world pump selection, operation, and troubleshooting. You’ll work through flow, pressure, pipe sizing, friction loss, and other hydraulic principles that help explain why systems perform the way they do, then apply those fundamentals to pump performance and common field problems. Designed for both newer irrigation professionals and seasoned pros looking to sharpen their diagnostic skills, the course will use practical examples and group discussion to help you identify problems faster and make better decisions in the field. Bring your questions and real-world scenarios to work through with the group.
Training presented by Keith Schweiger, Superior Irrigation Consulting, LLC
Who Should Attend: Ideal for irrigation technicians, crew leaders, managers, designers, and anyone responsible for diagnosing system performance in the field.
