Path of Hope – Illinois Cancer Care Foundation Tribute Garden

The Illinois Cancer Care Foundation’s Tribute Garden, featuring a “Path of HOPE,” was designed with cancer patients' families and friends in mind. During COVID, the foundation observed loved ones waiting for hours in their cars while patients underwent treatments, highlighting the need for a welcoming outdoor space. Today, the Tribute Garden draws visitors with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. Along the west garden path, engraved pavers display inspirational messages and memorials, while strategically placed benches bear inscriptions from foundation donors. Seasonal splashes of color bring life to the garden year-round, especially through four-season containers thoughtfully incorporated into the design. Visitors are welcomed at the entrance by the soothing sounds of water and a beautiful courtyard showcasing the Illinois Cancer Care’s logo, offering tranquility and a sense of hope.
