Timeless Charm of Rosewood
By Craig Bergmann Landscape Designs
Our involvement with this historic property began in 2000, starting with a collaboration with the Owner and Architect to renovate what was once the original coach house of a larger estate. This first phase included building a new garage and renovating the coach house. Over two decades, the project evolved through numerous small-scale design iterations, intimate garden enhancements, planting of a tree collection and ongoing maintenance, all while working with two different owners. The garden has undergone continuous refinement, balancing the historical essence of the space with new design elements. On-going Garden Care and the addition of new plantings have shaped this estate into a cohesive landscape that feels both timeless and inviting. The project, now recognized under Decade Status, demonstrates the long-term care and vision required to maintain and improve a landscape over 20 years. It is a testament to design evolution, preservation, and hands-on maintenance.
