We design and build projects of all sizes, focusing on higher end properties.
We are looking to add a landscape designer/estimator to our design build team. This is a full-time, remote work position, with occasional in-person office meetings. This position does not involve sales or field work.
Position Overview
We are seeking a landscape designer/estimator to join our design team, working alongside our experienced sales team and designers. In this role you will develop and estimate residential landscape designs, from initial concept through construction documentation.
What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with sales team to create landscape designs that align with client goals and project objectives
• Research and recommend plant materials, hardscape elements, and other landscape features
• Prepare estimates and obtain subcontractor quotes
• Prepare site plans, scaled drawings, and 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and internal teams
• Prepare construction documents, including technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare permit drawings and documents as required
• Coordinate with sales, pre-construction, and project managers to keep projects moving smoothly
• We maintain a fast-paced environment. You should possess the ability to work independently with excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
What We’re Looking For
• 5 years of experience in residential landscape design or landscape architecture.
• Degree or coursework in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Experience with DynaScape Design or AutoCAD, and SketchUp or other 3D tools and Adobe Suite are a plus
• Familiarity with professional estimating software. Experience with Aspire a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eye for design, attention to detail, and curiosity about plants and outdoor spaces
